Adopt a little glow

Hatch a Glimling.
Feed it. Spoil it. Brag about it.

Glimlings are little creatures lit by the Glimmerstone: thirteen species, four hatching patterns, twelve materials to dye into, eight lands and a lot of games. Your first Glimling is free.

Meet the thirteen

Every Glimling hatches spotted, striped, fluffy or freckled. A dye drop in the Paintfall turns it knitted, glass, clay, porcelain and more. Try a few:

  • Fluffkin, Brass

    Fluffkin Brass

A dandelion clock with a face. Every sneeze sends a few seeds off on adventures of their own.

  • Flickerdrake, Tin

    Flickerdrake Tin

A little dragon made of candle wax. Its wick burns brighter when it is pleased and it drips when it sulks.

  • Darnling, Glass

    Darnling Glass

A lost odd sock that came alive, patched and darned a hundred times. Collects buttons. Still looking for its other half.

  • Mewbloom, Knitted

    Mewbloom Knitted

A cat with a mane of petals that open in the sun and fold shut at bedtime. Its purr smells faintly of roses.

  • Tickerwhirl, Porcelain

    Tickerwhirl Porcelain

A clockwork toy with a brass key in its back. Whirs about at top speed after a wind, then slows to a tick-tock shuffle.

  • Glubble, Moss

    Glubble Moss

A squeaky bath-toy fish that woke up in a bubble bath. Squeaks when squeezed and floats no matter what.

  • Trumpaloo, Brass

    Trumpaloo Brass

A woolly little mammoth who ties a knot in its trunk for everything it must remember. Some days the trunk is mostly knots.

  • Featherpuff, Tin

    Featherpuff Tin

A chick still wearing half its eggshell as a flying helmet. Has read every book about flight and is nearly ready to try.

  • Nibblit, Glass

    Nibblit Glass

A scholar in tiny spectacles, writing the complete history of cheese one wedge at a time. Happens to be a mouse.

  • Shellby, Knitted

    Shellby Knitted

A turtle whose shell is a cottage, chimney and all. Invites every friend in for tea. None of them fit.

  • Croonie, Porcelain

    Croonie Porcelain

A frog with three throat sacs, so it can sing all three parts of a harmony by itself.

  • Drizzlet, Moss

    Drizzlet Moss

A small raincloud with a face. Drizzles when it is sad, rumbles when it is cross, and wears a rainbow when it is happy.

  • Brewbelly, Brass

    Brewbelly Brass

A round teapot creature whose steam shows how it feels. Pours a cup for every friend it makes.

Things to do (besides the pudding)

  • Bubble Arcade

Blast comets, catch snacks, hop clouds. Good scores turn into Glimmers.

13 games, and Gloom Bulb Dig plays by a house rule today.

  • Dailies

Flip a flapjack with Chef Sizzleby, read the sundial's shadow, and spin a wheel that is definitely not rigged.

14 of them, fresh every morning.

  • The Brawl Bowl

Your Glimling fights with moves learned from books and drills, plus one only its species knows. Losing only hurts its pride.

12 rivals, from Wobbly Wallace to Emberax the Undefeated, and every one remembers you.

  • Shops

Catch a cheerful keeper for a freebie, then open your own stall and sell it on for a little more.

13 shops, stocked by delivery carts.

Eight lands, one very small ocean

A glacier full of frozen starlight, the hollow where every lamp is lit, a stargazers' town on stilts and a clockwork harbour. Pick a land to start exploring (sign-up first, we need to know who to send the postcards to).

A day in Glimmeria

  1. Breakfast. Your Glimling has opinions about cookies. Mostly that it wants one.

  2. Dailies. Flip the Everlasting Flapjack, guess what is in the Kindly Kettle, rummage the stump for a parcel.

  3. Lunch break. Every run that scores pays out, until your Glimling is ready for a nap.

  4. Shopping. Catch the Toybox keeper in a cheerful mood and walk out with a freebie.

  5. Bedtime. Tuck the day's Glimmers into your geode, read your Glimling a book, tidy its room.

Your first Glimling is free.

So is the second. The pudding costs extra.
