A hollow old stump where players leave what they can spare. Old Rootwhistle wraps each gift in leaf paper, so nobody knows what's inside. Unwrap up to 8 a day.
A brass diving bell on a crane at the end of the Cogwhistle pier, over water deeper than anyone has measured. Your Glimling dives 3 times a day: the deeper it goes, the better the pearls and the emptier the paws.
Glimshard tablets from the Starwatch dig, caked in star-dust. 450 Glimmers each, one every 4 hours. Rub off 7 patches; stars that join into a constellation win.
Three questions a day about Glimmeria, and about what you got up to in it this week. The more you get right, the bigger the prize.

Lives in a snow globe on a Frostpeak windowsill. “Brrr. Be quick, before it all melts away.”
Lives in the top half of the big hourglass in the Cogwhistle clock tower. “Time is trickling away. Slowly. Help me?”
Keeper of the Starwatch Observatory. Paces in circles when worried, which is often.
A very old, very slow, very wise turtle who remembers the last time the sky went dim.
Gatekeeper for thirty years. Has let exactly four people through. Very official hat.
Lives on a stilted cottage in Mossmire and talks to her mushrooms, who talk back. Reads out one recipe riddle a day; brew it right and your Glimling drinks the magic.
Ask her for anything and she lights up the map wherever it's sold, brightest where it's cheapest. Hoots at bad deals.
Draws up every new build in Glimmeria and sells the shares. Blames every stall on the weather.
Warden of the pools where Mossmire meets the sea. Can tell you when the next wave is due to within a sneeze.
Lights the Gloomhollow lamp row every dusk with the flame on the end of his own tail. Never tells which wick is fattest.
A crumb-bearded old sailor who winds his pocket-watch by the Cogwhistle harbour clock. Bring him all four pieces of a star chart and he'll show you where the star comes down.
Tusky McTrumpet's aunt. Ties a knot in her trunk for every recipe she knows. Bring her a card, or a pocketful of odd bits.
“Blub! I mean... have at you!”
